Put Those Corks To Good Use

After you pop that cork from your top pick wine bottle, don’t hurl it in the trash. Rather, spare it. A hundred corks later and you could have a lovely hand tailored wreath as this one!

With your children home from school for the hot time of year, drinking 100 bottles of wine may not take with the assumption that you may think. (Trust us.) So snatch your mates, offer a bottle (mindfully, obviously) and make a couple of these painted wine cork wreaths, which are exceptional and ideal for any season.

What you’ll need:

  • 100 or so wine corks
  • 8-inch wreath form (we used a twig one)
  • Hot-glue gun
  • Nail polish (we used gold and aqua)

1) Paint the corks with nail polis

Paint the corks with nail polishlace the plugs on Styrofoam or cardboard and deliberately paint in the ballpark of a quarter of them with the nail polish.

Let dry completely before gluing (about an hour).

2) Glue corks onto the wreath

Glue the corks onto the wreath in a random order.

Assuming that you need something notably more organized, glue them in a round pattern.

3 ) Hang!

Let the wreath dry for at least an hour. Hang carefully with ribbon and enjoy!
