Here’s a merry menagerie of animals your ornament designers will love to make — a sporty penguin, a pack of Yuletide pups, a snow-white mouse, and litter of Christmas kitties.
What you’ll need
- White satin ornament balls, assorted sizes
- Washable colored and black markers
- Craft glue
- Googly eyes
- Pom-poms, assorted sizes and colors
- Felt, assorted colors including black and orange
- Pipe cleaners, assorted colors
How to make it
To make the sporty penguin, color a little glossy silk ball with dark marker and glue it to a bigger, white ball. Glue black felt wings, as indicated, and a couple of orange felt feet to the bigger ball. On the little black ball, glue googly eyes and a coiled orange pipe cleaner for a beak. Cut a scarf shape from green felt, wrap it precisely around the penguin’s neck, utilizing little amount of glue to keep it in place.
For a Yuletide pup, color a ball with marker, then glue on googly eyes, floppy felt ears, and pom-pom cheeks and a nose. Include pom-pom fur tufts to the highest point of the ball and the bottom of the ears to make a poodle.
