Joyful Friday! Today is day five of my glass decoration series and I’m demonstrating to you best practices to make this retro-propelled striped adornment.

Wrap Japanese washi tape the distance around the core of the ornaments, tucking in the closures into the opening. Do the same dividing those two segments down the middle, making an x. What’s more once more, separating those 4 area in half with another piece. Attempt to keep the distance between the tape as equivalent as could be expected under the circumstances so the gold tear drop shapes will be about the same size.

When you’re done it will look something like this. Pretty enough to cling in its own, wouldn’t you say? Utilize your finger to press down the tape along every edge to evacuate the same amount folds and meanders as you can.

Spray an even layer of gold paint and then carefully peel off tape when paint has completely dried.

Now it’s ready to hang and enjoy!
